The Full Story

TRY NATURE TOO FARMS

Our farm is located inside the innovation center; a commercial space in Bridgeport, Connecticut. We work hard to ensure the sterility of our environment and the quality of our product. In our facility, we grow our own mushrooms, create and sterilize our own grow bags, as well as manufacture all of our products. Everything you receive has been 100% processed in house!

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide all people, regardless of economic status, with the highest grade healing herbs and mushrooms around.

Buying from us directly supports this mission. In addition to selling our mushrooms to restaurants and at farmers markets, we make it a priority to have our products available at local food hubs that center food justice, as well as participate in CSA’s(community supported agriculture)- biweekly packages containing food from multiple local farmers!

Lions Mane is a giant in the mushroom kingdom, serving as a medicinal and culinary fungi. Known to be used initially in East Asia as a ‘Qi”(life force energy) restorer, its primary functions were to nourish the gut and even fight malignant infections. Its functions today are the same!

It is a great source of protein, fiber, vitamins, and minerals such as potassium, zinc, and selenium.

Studies have found that lion's mane mushroom extract also improves fat metabolism and lowers triglyceride levels. This is no surprise- given that in nature, all members of the fungi kingdom are tasked with breaking down contaminants. Today,  mushrooms are used to regenerate soil, and even clean up oil spills!
